How to Download the Assignment Grading Template to Import Scores
Instructors can use the grading template to input student scores for course section assignments. AEFIS will then organize and showcase aggregated information of student grades or student outcomes in the Assignment Gradebook.

Step-by-Step…
Step 1: Log into your AEFIS Account
Step 2: Select the three white horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner to open the AEFIS Main Menu
Step 3: Navigate to Course > Course Sections
Step 4: Use either the + Add Filter option or the search bar to locate the desired course section, for which you would like to access and use a grading template
Step 5: Select the Manage button in the same row of the corresponding course section
Step 6: Select the Assignments tab in the panel on the left-hand side
Step 7: Select the Assignment Grading drop-down in the top-right hand corner

Step 9: Select your desired template format (Excel or CSV) and select Next
Step 10: Select the Download icon
Step 11: The Grading Template will download to your computer, so you will open thedownloaded file in Excel.
Step 12: Locate the Points column in the Excel file and enter the scores for each student
*Note: Only copy and paste data in the template without formatting the template page (paste values one). Any changes made to the format will not import the data properly.
Step 13: Save that file to your computer
Step 14: Return back to the AEFIS Assignment page and select the Assignment Grading drop down again
Step 15: Select the Import Grading Template option

Step 16: Click the Select File & Upload icon and search for your saved file
Step 17: Select the Import Data icon > Yes, Continue and import my data
Step 18: Select Finished
Step 19: To view the aggregated data of student scores, hover over the blue Action button next to the Assignment
Step 20: Select the Go to Gradebook icon

Once you have been re-directed to the Assignment Gradebook, see aggregated data under the Gradebook at a Glance section
