AEFIS User Roles
Institutional Admin: Institutional Administrators are able to manage and control all functionality in AEFIS, access all data, set user permissions and monitor the integrations with campus systems.
Institutional Admin Read Only: Read Only Institutional Administrators are able to view all functionality in AEFIS, view all data.
College Admin: College Administrators are able to access all data, view reports/analytics and manage/control all functionality in their assigned Academic Unit/College/School.
College Admin Read Only:Read Only College Administrators are able to view all data, and view reports/analytics assigned Academic Unit/College/School.
Dean: Dean’s are able to access all data and view reports/analytics for their assigned Academic Unit/College/School.
Department Admin: Department Administrators are able to access all data and manage/control all functionality in their assigned academic department under a given Unit/College/School.
Department Admin Read Only:Read Only Department Administrators are able to view all data and view reports/analytics assigned academic department under a given Unit/College/School.
Program Coordinator: Program Coordinators are able to access and manage/control all default settings for the Programs that are assigned to them. Additionally they can view accreditors, and run assessment reports.
Course Coordinator: Course Coordinators are able to access and manage/control all default settings for the courses that are assigned to them.
Faculty: Faculty (or Instructors) are able to access, manage and control content in their assigned course sections. All faculty is automatically assigned the faculty role through the faculty data feed received from the Student Information System.
Student: Students are automatically given access to AEFIS once they are received through the student data feed from the Student Information System.
External User: External users are invited to submit repeating or ad-hoc/one-time surveys.
Guest: Guest users are ONLY able to access information made public in AEFIS System through portals and API exports, such as Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs), course catalog, Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs), course syllabi etc.
