IMS Global Learning Consortium is asking all sector participants to consider becoming a public signee of the Standards First Pledge to ensure the lasting success of open standards in ed-tech.
AEFIS are proud supporters of the Standards First Pledge. As part of a committed community that makes open standards the first and primary choice for education technology integrations, we advocate for standards-based integrations. We believe that achieving and promoting official product certification to open standards enables a better ed-tech ecosystem and community and believe in fair and open business practices for suppliers. We are passionate about this cause and have taken the Standards First pledge to confirm our support. Find out more about Standards First.
“Students worldwide have better digital learning experiences because of the millions of interoperable connections made possible by IMS standards like LTI®, OneRoster®, Open Badges, QTI®, and Caliper Analytics®). The widespread adoption of these standards has significantly impacted the ease by which school districts, states, and institutions build their ed-tech ecosystems to be more scalable, agile, equitable, and innovative.”Rob Abel, CEO, IMS Global Learning Consortium
