What and Who Are Community Leaders?
My Community
Community Leaders are members of the Academy who have accumulated a certain number of Community Engagement Points, achieved a specific Community Rank, accomplished one or more Community Achievements and/or met other leadership criteria.
Not only does the title and role of Community Leader bring with it increased Status, Access, Influence, and Leverage within our community it also unlocks new levels of Superpowers, tools, and possibilities within the Academy. Examples are certain Community Leaders can create special Forums, Special Interest Groups, and much more.
A specific example of this would be for those members who achieve the Rank of Sophomore they will then have the Super Powers to:
- Create a blog
- Launch a new Research Project
- Launch a new Innovation Workgroup
