How to Link Blackboard Assignments using Blackboard LTI Link

Applicable to: Institution Admin, College Admin, Department Admin, and Faculty.

Step-by-Step…

Step 1: Log into your Blackboard account 
Step 2: Select the Courses tab in the panel in the top right-hand corner  
Step 3: Select the desired course section, for which you would like to link the assignments, from the Course List 
Step 4: Select the Tools tab in the panel on the left-hand side
Step 5: Select AEFIS Tools and select Launch 
Step 6: Select the three white horizontal lines in the top-left hand corner to open the Course Section Main Menu 
Step 7: Select the Assignment Linking tab 
Step 8: Now the mapped program learning outcomes will populate, so locate the desire program mapping, to which you would like to link assignments 
Step 9: Select the blue icon with the white pencil to the corresponding mappingmceclip1.png

Step 10: A new pop-up window will appear, select the corresponding check-boxes to the assignments, which you would like to link

Step 10: The system will automatically distribute the weight of each assignment evenly, unless you would like to manually change the weighting for each linked assignment. 
Step 11 (Optional): Use the sliders to set the desired Total Score Rubric Settings. These rubrics are based on the rubric criteria set at the program level, to which the course is attached.

Step 13 (Optional): Select the check box in the bottom left-hand corner to “Use these rubrics values when linking new assignments”

Step 13: Once you have made the desired assignment linking, select the blue Save button
