About
The last 20 months have accentuated the need for institutions to focus on long-term sustainability and plan for the future. Often presidential initiatives and goals define the measurements and indicators of institutional success. However, not all institutions have their data organized and easily available to support these goals. As a result, many institutions are expanding the role and influence of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) to help demonstrate that they are delivering on these priorities. In response to this, we are seeing a greater need for a more comprehensive, data-informed approach towards running an institution.
Join this Inside Higher Ed webcast to hear Richard Reeves, Associate Vice President of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at the University of Delaware (UD), share UD’s approach to analytics for institutional effectiveness, including how their team was able to organize their data to support accreditation, public reporting requirements, and operations. Darren Catalano, CEO of HelioCampus and former AVP in Institutional Effectiveness at University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), will also share his perspective on the evolving and expanding role of institutional effectiveness and best practices for operationalizing data.
