AEFIS 3.51 Release Notes – January 2020

New Features

  • Random Sampling
    • This new feature allows a program to identify either the entire program and all mappings to courses to be assessed through random sampling or specific mappings within a program.
    • This was added to AEFIS based on feedback to streamline the General Education assessment process as well as capstone project assessments.
    • Please see the new instruction guide to learn how to set this up for your program(s). If you need assistance please schedule a training with the AEFIS Client Support Team.
  • Assignment Reports
    • We have created and continue to create more reports for assessment and assignment reporting. Please see below the list of new reports:
      • Assignment Grading Progress
      • Assignment Results
      • Assignment Listings

Improvements

  • Read-Only Roles
    • Previously we had a small set of roles that were read-only. These have been removed and all edit roles have a new toggle to set to read-only.
    • This can be found on the roles page within a users account
    • All users that had one of the old read-only roles have been migrated to the new read-only

Resolved Bugs

  • Statistics not showing on College or Department Level Aggregates for Student Course Evaluations
  • Practicums not generating at term activation
  • Direct Assessment Analysis Report not displaying course or course section aggregate information
  • PDF Export of Mapping by Course and Mapping by Outcome
  • Course Versioning – Old versions of course not allowing users to change assignments or assignment linking
