Lightning Talks are short, targeted presentations that provide insight into best practices, challenges, and successes in assessment. Listen in as some of the greatest minds and thought leaders share authentic assessment processes, continuous improvement stories, and innovative approaches toward lifelong learning and student success.

New Mexico State University-Alamogordo boldly shifted their assessment process from manual to digital using a pragmatic change management structure. Key to this transformation is the collaboration between instructional technology and academic affairs creating a culture of assessment that the institution is implementing as their go-to continuous improvement process.

This Lightning Talk highlights solutions, which can be adapted to any institution size, that facilitate the efficiency of collecting improvement data from learning management systems and other educational technology using AEFIS. This process provides a blueprint for helping faculty choose the appropriate assessments aligned to institutional goals and program outcomes for reporting.

Deliver training and support for faculty and staff on use of educational technologies including Canvas LMS. Campus Canvas Administrator responsible for creating new courses, enrolling students and content management. Training includes APPQMR and Peer Reviewer courses from QualityMatters.
